Did you get any response from contacting CM about this? I would definately contact them before we consider publishing this. It would only be fair to them to have the chance for some sort of remedy.

k i just feel the need for an update here...

I've written several e-mails to yolanda and after my 3rd try i got a message back that she had left... i got some new contact info and e-mailed the new person. (lucy) she's acknowledged my e-mail and will be getting back to me shortly

oh and while I've been waiting I've done a little work to the review, but can't figure out a few things.

how can i reduce the size of each image? (by compression not cropping)

and how did you get rid of the background as cleanly as you have Bruce?

I don't really know what I do... to be honest with you. Sometimes I adjust the hue and saturation. Sometimes the balance, contrast, brightness. Sometimes I use the lasso tool and select the image. Then inverse the selection and delete the background. It really depends on the image to begin with. Typically, it would be nice to see the background obliterated.

It does work best if you do all this at the images native resolution. I then typically crop the image to the desired image area. Rezise to get near the dimenstions of 300Wx250H then resize the canvas to meet those dimensions. It really is your own flavor though.

How much experience do you have with photoshop? I am a noob, but I can create web graphics and do some basic image manipulation.

ok i think CM is giving me the shaft, I've sent them several e-mails since they last responded and no one is saying (the S-word) to me. in my opinion cooler master crapped the bed on this one.

if i can manage to find time this weekend (new job has been running my ass into the ground) I'll shrink the photos and add a section about their crap-tastic service and we can post the review Monday
