SlipSand
I have been OCing my 5900U for a while and I was wondering why all of a sudden it is getting little boxes across screen and lockign up. For now I have stopped OCing because it is very bad indeed. But! please help!
Rbreb13
Its not good to run a card OC'd all the time. Especially at its MAX settings. Over time you will see some degradation. Best to just OC it when you need it. Personally I don't overclock my vid cards anymore.

custompccases
Sometimes you notice this after a rise in temperature. Not only ambient temps (like in weather changes) but also degradation in case ventilation. I would make sure the card isn’t overheating first. Bruceleeon
Are you using a tool to overclock it? or coolbits? Some tools will find your maximum overclock. Rb has a list of all this stuff. Rb if you would!!!???? I don't OC my vid cards anymore! Frying my ti4600 left a bad taste in my mouth. SlipSand
Yeah Ive been OCing for a while but not at max. Dropping it down here and there. And I took it out the other day and it was freaking hot as hell. Almost as hot as my cpu cooler. I reinstalled drivers and so far so good. But man. And if anything it has been getting colder out. But ya know. And I put my 92mm back in and its at 20 celcius case temp so...
bigapl
Sounds like the begfinnings of artifacting I would stray from OC'ing that one in risk of frying it!
