Fans and heatsinks can be found in almost, if not every PC in the world, and it didn't take long for certain companies to start devoting time and money into the R&D of thermal management. Over the last couple of years, literally dozens of these sorts of companies have popped up and offered the public a huge selection of different designs for cooling the various components of a PC - whether it be for the processor, video card, motherboard, or the hard drive.
