Junior
It seems I missed this XP powertoy. Multiple desktops as seen in Linux.... well almost. thats just a view of all desktops. dubbed the Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager (MSVDM). It sits in the taskbar (wherever you place it) and Functions Just like it's Linux counterpart. Kinda interesting. Grab this as well as a few other such as Tweakui here. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/dow...s/powertoys.asp

IntellAlien
hmm..... Do we need to have 4 desktops
Rbreb13
hmm..... Do we need to have 4 desktops I don't bother with it. I have a Dual monitor setup. But I suppose it would be useful for doing certain things. With the shortcuts you need for each task available on a particular desktop. One for Graphics work. One for website development etc. Seems like a hassle and a resource hog though.
