jsgolfman
No, it's not another which one is better thread(AMD ). It is a buyers guide from Tweaktown. http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?dTyp...dId=348&dPage=2 You can access other components as well with the link, but I thought it was nice because it discusses the architecture, a little. PC-HAngover
I may be turning to AMD soon. If Intel doesn't get their heads out of their asses and drop some of these (the D-word) prices. Holy (the S-word)! I may be picking up an AMD for my next rig instead of intel. I like the pure power intel has, but AMD has the best price/performance. Intle is just so (the D-word) expensive! And if they actually implement that non-fsb-overclockable (the S-word), I am out. I will definitely be going AMD after that. Just my rant. Thx for listening. [COD]1HellUVAShot
AMD all the way for me, the only way I would run an Intel chip is if someone gave me one.
JimBowy
Price vs. Performance AMD wins! For pure performance though, I'm gonna have to say Intel. Maybe the Hammer will change this?

JimBowy
Nope. Well I'll hope the Hammer will change this anyway.
PC-HAngover
I really hope that the hammer brings out the big guns. This will give intel some stiff competition and really give us a better processor for cheaper, from either company! And that is what I like. PC-HAngover
Yah I am hoping that the Hammer really drops the prices of the bartons. I am REALLY REALLY hoping that I would be able to afford a hammer.. but I doubt it!
