With the new card installed it shouldn't install the vid driver because it won't find the hardware. The Dell 8100 I just worked on had several Dell supplied disks with Apps and Drivers for your system. But I just did a install of XP Home on that one and Windows picked up and identified all the hardware except the sound and the video. But thats normal. My parents dell came with the same disc they send out with every system, it had all the drivers for what they had, plus drivers for other type cards. at least i think it did.
