Which Case?

I know this is the modding forum... But you don't have a Regular forum for cases, unless I missed it. Anywho....

I was thinking I already have a case, although it's currently being used afaik by a friend.(unless he finally got a longer power switch cord:P)

Soooo..

Lian Li PC-70, or a Antec KS 188

Or if you have a case in mind... I'm all ears.

Thanks

edit: I'll add this one to the list. Not sure on the price just yet.

do you really need to ask, i think the Lian Li would be great if you have the cash, then go out and buy a 330-400w truepower by antec and you'll be set.

look @ newegg they actually have a Chieftech case sub 100 and i think it comes with ps

I was thinking of the antec truepower 430W or an enermax 430W PS.

I like chieftech cases.. are they not the original designers of what everyone now calls "Alienware" Case.

Im really happy with my Lian Li. The antec case doesnt seem all that. Also i noticed the Lian Li newegg link showed a refurbished case, i wouldnt buy that, they dont care if its missing stuff and u could get one with a bunch of missing parts.

Actually, I think its Chenming that makes the cases. That are then rebadged by Chieftec, Alienware and Antec.

I like Chieftec cases myself. For a cheap case they really are full featured. Lots of room. I got this one for $68 shipped from Newegg a while back.

IMG00011.jpgI did do some mods as far as the 2 side intakes and the top blow hole.

dont forget Thermaltake Xaser cases, i saw a couple today and i must say they were very very sweet looking but its just all eye candy.

Iroc, i think you said antec didn't have much frills ors omething? well i like antec because of that, i dont need any extra frills asthetically but antecs come with features that help cooling and ease of use.. (cept mobo tray) they look okay cases and are nothing fancy, and thats what i mainly like about them beacuse its just a regular solid case. just tryin to defend antec here! :D but im sure the other cases r great, go for the Lian Li!!!!!!!

I don't like that case.. if you want a snazzy case.. buy a regular case and mod it.. it is much more satisfying.
I agree. I don't quite like the looks of the Xaser's.

I agree, if you are a DIY type person. for the Ones who just want a quick fix, that one looks to be a good alternative to doing it yourself. If i actually ever get into modding my case... I'm a hardware person myself.

If I brought that to one of my LAN's, they would boot me before I got it hooked up. Nuttin' but homebrew allowed, which is why I haven't done anything to mine yet, no skills.

All right another Hdwe guy. Me too. In fact I work at a Hardware store. hehehe

I also don't really get into modding my cases, other than holes for fans and such.

I had toyed with mods before, but have settled on the basic black look. I belive the only mod I would consider now would be that sweet COD case badge design lasered into my side panel.
