I need a little help. Since I don't have XP Home ED, I Know its different from XP Pro ED (Remote Desktop)

I would like to connect my XP PRO to a computer over the internet that has XP Home Ed on it.

What do I need to do to the HOME ED so that I can connect to it.

Please don't respond unless you have done this with XP HOME ED!!!!!!

I already know how to do it with the XP PRO.

Thanks,

DT

Personally, I wouldn't use remote desktop.

I would use PC anywere (more secure, and more options)

or... I found a new SMALL program that will allow you to do the same thing. When i say small... I MEAN SMALL!!!!. I will package the server and the viewer.

Thanks Bruce.

I will watch this thred a little longer before I use the 3rd part software. I rather not walk other people through this new software install. See, Im going to use Remote so I can trouble shoot computers. Im tired of people no being able to find there control panel. lol

Anyone Else know about Windows XP Home Remote Desktop connection?

Thanks,

DT

Actually dt... there is barely any install

the installation consists of them running the program and selecting a password

then with the viewer, You enter their IP address.. it connects... you enter password.and thats it. done

Its easier then using remote desktop. I have done both.

Also if you insist on using windows software you can use netmeeting. It has desktop control in there.

I installed it and it was done in seconds. Of course, I don't know what the hell I will do with it but I like new stuff :)
