ballsdeep
This is an awesome anime with huge guns, new age soldiers and blasting with a story line that twists like Mission Impossible. (i know this sounds chezzy but check it out). JIN-ROH, is a tale of personal crisis amid intra-bureaucratic skulduggery. The film is set in an alternate reality in which Japan has emerged from World War II as a totalitarian society. The population riots, a group called the Sect creates havoc, and the armored Special Unit of the Capitol Police Organization (CAPO) plots to acquire more power. A soldier named Fuse, who was once one of the most formidable men in the Special Unit, agonizes over the death of a young girl who worked for the Sect and in doing so he becomes a neurotic mess intent on befriending the dead girl's sister.Okiura, who was the character designer of GHOST IN THE SHELL, creates an unforgettable image of the Special Unit soldier: a dehumanized, armored figure with feral red eyes. Okiura's drama unfolds against a backdrop of very complex crowd scenes; the scenes are even more impressive considering that most of the work was done using traditional cel-animation techniques. Mamoru Oshii (director of GHOST IN THE SHELL) scripted the project, based on his KENROU DENSETSU. Punctuated by brief moments of violence, JIN-ROH is a psychological drama in which nothing is as it seems. did you read that? director from GHost in the SHell! [TMX]PegesusMaxx
When Aeon Flux was on MTV back ages ago, it was pretty cool. I also liked Heavy Metal - dunno if I still would.

ballsdeep
AEON FLUX • Animated Heroine Created by Peter Chung, Aeon Flux debuted in 1991 as part of MTV's Liquid Television. Aeon Flux is an assassin whose futuristic espionage adventures set records for cartoon body counts. Long-legged and spidery, she wears a skimpy chastity belt, disregarding its traditional purpose in the extreme. With overtones of fetishism and sado-masochism, Aeon is sexy, cool and often ruthless. I stumbled onto this DVD at a Hastings for $10. AWESOME. I noticed the VHS sells on ebay for 20 bucks and i ve seen the DVD sell for around 50. Do you guys remember Liquid Television? They had some ohter sweet anime on thre, like the dude who races those futuristic cars real fast, and he wins, but keep driving till his eyes pop out and car falls apart cause hes going so fast. he dies. ballsdeep
RvB Season One DVD "Here it is! The Season One DVD. It includes all episodes, PSAs, extra videos, outtakes, easter eggs and a directors commentary. Clocking in at almost 2 hours of content, it's the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. So come on and make your friend, loved one, or jailmate happy, and get them the Season One DVD! " ------------------------------------------------------------ The Blood Gulch Chronicles [2003] In the time between the Covenant invasion of the outer planets (Halo) and the subsequent alien invasion of Earth (Halo 2), there was a brief period of civil war among the human marines. Places like Sidewinder, Derelict and Chiron TL34 were the sites of fierce battles where red and blue warriors fought for control of mankind's future. The Blood Gulch Chronicles tell the story of the men stationed in a desolate outpost as they fight for control of the universe's most strategic dry creek bed in the middle of a box canyon. -------------------------------- my opinion: This is for anyone who has played the X-Box smash hit Halo. If you have ever even heard of the game then you need to check this out. This is a movie series where fans took the game and made hilarious clips and unforgettable characters. This is not just from the game view that you see when you play. It mostly consists of editing from movie sequences. The movie takes place on one of the most famous multiplayer levels Blood Gulch. The Red Vs. Blue (hence the name) armies give you an inside perspective to what the soldiers you control really think about their experiences. They question why they are fighting the opposing team and acknowledge the fact that the only reason they have a base and must fight is because the other team has a base also. They made a DVD after overwhelming success and requests but can download all the videos of the link I provided. The characters are hilarious and it has a South Park feeling by the way their attitudes are for each other. There is some vulgar language but its mainly in the form of name calling. I watched the whole thing with my bro the other night and it is truly genius. If we did movie reviews this would be perfect for COD. --------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.redvsblue.com to the movie download site: http://www.redvsblue.com/bloodgulch.shtml This is hilariuos fan art! I guess it will make more sense after checking out the videos. but its not pink! its light red! yeah but they have a name for light red, its called pink!
