Rbreb13
The casting for our benchmarks appeared quite impressive. We had well-known Seagate Barracuda ATA IV, Maxtor D740X-6L, IBM Vancouver as well as quite unfamiliar Samsung SP8004H and SV80004H or WD800AB. When choosing the HDDs I tried to follow the "equal capacity" principle so that the performance gap was only determined by the construction and firmware differences. http://www.xbitlabs.com/storage/13-idehdd-roundup/
