Rbreb13
IBM hard drives have always been on the shortlist of many enthusiasts, due to the drive’s low noise and quickness. Relatively recently (say that 5 times fast!), however, IBM is in big trouble due to their Deskstar 75GXP series failing more than usual. IBM has lost so much money from their hard drive division, that they are pending selling their hard drive division to Hitachi.Looks like it performs real well. Hopefully these are better than the 75GXP series that had so many problems. Time will tell and I can wait. http://www.pcreviewspot.com/index.php?id=r...ge/120gxp/index See, the problem is that God gives men a brain and a penis, and only enough blood to run one at a time. jsgolfman
One of the reasons I got the WD was the warranty, looks like that is out the window. The same goes for Seagate and Maxtor too.
