Worth an upgrade?

Recommended Posts

i would wait a little bit... with the 256mb cards released the lower end cards are coming down in price. 9000 pro is a good card.. but from what im reading 9500pro is the way to go... .13 and highly overclockable....

5200's (like the mx) are DX 9 and cheap. but i would still wait.

All Nvidia's MX cards suck always will! 9000 Pro or if ya can save a bit the 9500 Pro. Don't get a non Pro model.

I had the MX card also. Compared to my 9500 PRO, it was very weak. Still, it was better than onboard.

Well yeah, video cards may be the hardest thing to get for free... thats why I may buy one... The games I play really wouldn't matter to me to have the very top of the line gpu... I know the big buck video cards are killer, but a waste of money for me... I think I have alot of nice hardware, but my vidoe card is definitely the weakest link... I have a GeForce2 Ti here that nearly outbenches my MX440...
