jsgolfman
http://www.avault.com/hardware/getreview.a...w=altec641speak Quote: Computer sound systems have undergone a miraculous, and often times frustrating, evolution over the past five years. Back in the day, a simple Sound Blaster or similar 16-bit sound card on an ISA bus connected to a pair of tinny stereo speakers was the norm, and only a few people cobbled together connections to more powerful speakers or home stereos. Today, sound cards are either PCI or USB solutions which offer up everything from stereo to 6.1 or better audio, while speaker systems range from similar tinny stereo units to expensive and powerful full 4.1 or 5.1 surround sound systems. Rbreb13
Nah, but I did. He must have higher standards than me.Well, I'm deaf in one ear, and can't hear out of the other! So everything sounds good! All the shooting I did as a kid with no hearing protection. I have tinitus really bad. The constant ringing is annoying, but only if I think about it. One good thing about it, it drowns out my fans!
jsgolfman
Those fans are music to my ears! Sorry about yours. Luckily I always use proper hearing protection when I go to the range, which sadly isn't very often nowadays. This dang pc virus I picked up about two years ago keeps me busy. Rbreb13
You got a virus? What one? What AV do you use that didn't catch it?
jsgolfman
I should have included this  when I posted. I meant the computer virus we all have. The sickness that drives us to tinker, mod and overclock.
Rbreb13
Oh, that one! I've got it, too! And a very bad case of it at that! Ah, yes, divorce . . . from the Latin word meaning to rip out a man's genitals through his wallet!
