The old one was a Core2 Duo 8500 and it just wasn't cutting it anymore. BD backups took too long and recoding took FOREVER! New Hardware: Case: Can't tell you yet, review coming Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-UD3 Mem: 8GB Crucial Sport PC3-12800 HDD: ADATA s511 120GB SSD HDD: Western Digital Green 1TB x 2 RAID 0 CPU: AMD FX 8120 Video Card: Still needs an upgrade AMD Radeon HD 6450 Optical: LG 12x BD Burner Total Price: $350 for Mobo, CPU, Memory, BD Burner. The rest was stuff I had lying around. Windows 7 with XBMC running AEON MQ3 Theme and using MySQL for a shared database (Tutorial) Much Much quicker! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
