  2. I don't mind Gnome, Its a solid and very fast interface, not to mention clean, and I've found it has fewer bugs than KDE. Beauty is with linux you can actually switch between both interfaces, so it gives you a choice unlike Windows.
  3. there is a free utility from microsoft that allows you to install from a USB "stick". I only install from usb sticks even though I have a DVD-RW. it's much quicker, and allows you to slipstream in updates. I dual boot Kubuntu and Windows 7 Ultimate on my computer and Ubuntu and Windows 7 Pro on my laptop. I actually prefer KDE over Gnome, but that's my preference.

    Very true, but the RC was extremely stable. anyways, I've been using the Retail release since launch, with no problems to speak of.

    You do realize that microsoft ran a public RC right? And afaik, the RC is good till sometime this year.

  17. I almost broke down and bought a PS3 but instead I saved the money and bought a Nintendo DS. But man I wanted the PS3, not just for the game but for the 5 Free BluRay DVD's.

  23. Ohh, they resurface as varients of originals all the time, so no need to worry, it's good to get the message out. I'm sure some of the other new viruses that are out are based on old ones. Nk still have a web page up?
